3D Studio

Upload, view, tech packs

Part of the Help centre.

  1. 1. Preferred: upload a .glb

A single packed GLB is the fastest path to the FansSpace 3D viewer.

  2. 2. Or a single-file .gltf / .obj

Single-file glTF or OBJ can convert in FansSpace under size limits. Multi-file glTF (.gltf + .bin + textures) and ZIP packages are temporarily gated for memory safety — export a GLB from Studio or pack to GLB first.

  3. 3. Watch conversion status

Statuses include Validating, Packaging glTF, Creating GLB, Optimizing preview, Ready, Warning, or Failed — not just a spinner.

  4. 4. View & download

When Ready, open View 3D. Authorized merchants can Download GLB and Download original via short-lived signed URLs.

  5. 5. Sample 360 + manufacturer PDF

View 3D → Capture Sample 360 → Generate tech pack → Print / save PDF.

  6. 6. Apparel vs 3D figures

Hoodie/tee prints use PNG on Design templates. Plush/figures need a real mesh (GLB/glTF) — not automatic 2D→mesh.

Roblox Studio

How to export from Roblox Studio

Roblox Studio supports importing FBX, OBJ and glTF assets, and can export selected eligible Studio content as glTF when you have the required asset permissions. FansSpace cannot export assets you are not allowed to export.

  1. Select your creator-owned model in Roblox Studio.
  2. Export as glTF or GLB (ensure you have export permission). Prefer a single .glb for FansSpace.
  3. Upload the file to FansSpace 3D Studio. Prefer a single .glb. Multi-file ZIP packages remain gated; use direct upload for very large sources.
  4. Review the model in FansSpace 3D Studio when status is Ready.
  5. Use the asset to create the physical merchandise programme.

Roblox model files (.rbxm / .rbxmx) are source formats — not the FansSpace viewer format. Place files (.rbxl / .rbxlx) are not used for ordinary merchandise creation. Successful GLB conversion does not by itself mean Roblox digital-item compatibility.
